Our portfolio is anchored in forest-based nature solutions that deliver measurable climate impact
through protection and
restoration.

Each one developed in accordance with standards and methodologies recognized by the ICVCM as compliant with the Core Carbon Principles (CCP).

The Core Carbon Principles

Effective Governance
Transparency
Additionality
Robust Quantification
Safeguards & Benefits
Tracking
Independent Audit
Permanence
No Double Counting
Contribution to Net Zero

Developed and published in 2023 by the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM), the CCP was formulated in response to growing concerns over integrity in global carbon markets. The CCP is widely regarded today as a foundational benchmark for defining high-integrity carbon projects. The ICVCM Committee regularly reviews methodologies developed by standard-setting bodies and issues CCP labels to validate their alignment with the framework.

Our Co-Benefits & Safeguards Strategy

Every Canopy project is built to deliver both carbon and broader benefits—supporting ecosystems, communities, and climate goals. We follow global best practices, aim for certifications like CCB, apply ICVCM principles, and contribute to as many of the 17 UN SDGs as possible to ensure impact beyond carbon.
